Hartford, Connecticut, 24 September 2010. A packed audience eagerly awaited the return of Christopher Houlihan to the Trinity College Chapel.  “Houli Fans” were in abundance, as well as many who came to hear this talented artist for the first time.  The President of Trinity College, James Jones, Jr., greeted the audience, noting Chris as a “…rare talent that touches such an age.”  That rare talent was prominent throughout the evening performance.

The Avery Ensemble, consisting of two married couples: violinist Annie Trépanier and violist Steve Larson, and pianist Adriana Jarvis and cellist Hans Twitchell, is Artist in Residence at Trinity on Main here, where it gave the final performance in this season’s 3-recital series yesterday afternoon.
